About
Marieke Druiven (1997) is an illustrator and animator from the Netherlands. Her work has a strong hand-made identity, whether it's a miniature, screenprint or installation. Her style is defined by rough, but detailed, shapes and materials such as cardboard, thick acrylic paint and clay. The themes in her work are often about human interaction, family, friends, the bizarre, but also the mundane.
